Grab your diaries for Thursday 29 thru Sunday 2 October and make a date to tuck in the lederhosen, plait your tails, oompah the playlist and join us for some beers, games, food and jovial company. Get on board for the Hop Sun's trip onto the German Beer Stage and join in our very own Oktoberfest Tap Takeover.
Some weeks ago Jenny and Dan scooped in the malt, dug out the spent grain and produced our "on your marks" Festbier lager which has already hit the taps and is going down a storm. Adding to this, we will be pouring a great selection from the classic Munich Oktoberfest breweries.
Alongside the traditional German Stein and our usual craft measures, our Beer Flights (4 beers) will be available to make sure you don't miss out on our extensive range.
However one can't live by beer alone, so after his amazing help with our Jubilee celebrations we've called on our very own Hoff "meister" to help us fill out the celebrations with a host of Oktoberfest essentials.
Pretzels I hear you say... yes! Pretzels you'll get! along with Bratwurst themed Toasties, Gherkin inspired Vegan Boards and enough Sauerkraut to sink the Bismarck!
Along with the Hop Sun favourites including Connect 4, Dominoes and Jenga, from 3pm to 5pm on Thursday to Sunday we're challenging you to Hop'TOAD'fest. Our themed take on the classic Sussex game Toad. Scores over 8 go up on the board. Just ask at the bar and take your chances - prizes for the highest scores over the weekend.
